Just Between Us
Allison grew up in Scarsdale, NY and then moved across the country to get a BFA in screenwriting from USC (her parents are still recovering). She writes and stars in the popular YouTube comedy channel, Just Between Us, with her best friend and comedy partner, Gaby Dunn. The channel has over 100 MILLION total views and over 750,000 subscribers. She has worked as a writer/actress for Buzzfeed and Sourcefed and stars in Fullscreen’s PARTY IN THE BACK. Most recently Allison cocreated and starred in a pilot for MTV and has developed original half-hour pilots with 20th Century Fox, FX and YouTube Red. You can learn about her bizarre thinking on her blog or through her Twitter with over 100,000 followers. Allison and Gaby’s debut novel, I Hate Everyone But You published by Wednesday Books, an imprint of St. Martin’s Press is set to release in the fall of 2017.

Gaby is a writer, journalist, YouTuber, actress, and comedian living in Los Angeles. She and her comedy partner, Allison Raskin, run the successful YouTube channel Just Between Us, which has over 750K subscribers and more than 100 MILLION total views. Gaby was one of Paper Magazine’s 10 Comedians To Watch In 2015. Her writing has appeared in The New York Times, Cosmopolitan, New York Magazine, The Boston Globe, Playboy, Refinery 29, Women’s Health Magazine, Vulture, Thought Catalog and on NPR’s On The Media, Sourcefed, Nickelodeon, Buzzfeed Video, Fusion, Mashable, Glamour, xoJane, Salon, Slate, ROOKIE, Jezebel and ABC’s Nightline. In 2016, she co-created and starred in a pilot for MTV and has since developed original half-hour pilots for 20th Century Fox, FX and YouTube Red. You will start by understanding your personal strengths, build a team of capable individuals to get your business off the ground, learn how to perform user interviews, wire-frame a simple MVP (Minimal Viable Product), and learn to fail quickly.

Prior to starting his own company, Stanley worked as a senior software engineer at Fuisz Video, the lead instructor at General Assembly, and a data analyst at The Boeing Company

Are you preparing for a job or internship, but don’t know what to wear? Then this workshop will help you learn the fashion do’s and don’ts of the professional world. Having the qualifications for the position that you are interviewing for is one thing, but looking the part is quite another. You will learn different fashions tips on what is appropriate to wear and what is not depending on which industry you are pursuing. We will also discuss the differences between business casual to business professional. As quoted by Zig Ziglar, “You cannot climb the ladder of success dressed in the costume of failure".

Bio: JAMES DE LEO brings the world of fashion straight to the FBLA-PBL world, where he has collaborated with his peers on fashion advice so they can carefully select the right look for their profession. Among his peers are the members of Pi Sigma Epsilon, a sales and marketing fraternity, and the FBLA-PBL chapter at California State University, Fullerton. While obtaining his Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, James’s discerning eye and love for fashion first developed while watching E! network’s Fashion Police and working at Macy’s South Coast Plaza in Costa Mesa, CA.

He started working in the gift wrap department before starting his role as a Sales Associate working in multiple departments. James worked in Women’s Shoes for 2 years before becoming an Impulse Specialist in Women’s Ready to Wear and has contributed in driving sales for brands such as Free People, Sanctuary, Lucky Brand, Rachel Roy and premium denim brands Joe’s Jeans, True Religion, Hudson, and 7 For All Mankind.

With a keen eye for detail and a fresh approach, James has obtained the ability to identify trends, fine tune the details in professional attire, and further solidify his style aesthetic.

Biography:
Jason brings 10 years experience as an Account Manager with Rockwell Collins managing accounts with with Bombardier, Dassault Falcon Jet, and Hawker Beechcraft.  As a PBL alumnus, Jason volunteered with California PBL since 2009 in various roles including State Officer Coach, Conference Manager, and starting now, Executive Director.  Jason is very excited to work with every member to imrpove the membership experience and elevate California PBL to be the premier student business organization in the state!
